Overview

CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) Level 3 signifies that an organization has defined, documented, and standardized processes across the entire organization. At Level 3, processes are characterized for the organization rather than individual projects. Standard processes are established and improved over time. Scope of Certification

Covers process areas including requirements development, technical solution, product integration, verification, validation, organizational process focus, organizational process definition, organizational training, integrated project management, risk management, and decision analysis and resolution.

Audit and Assessment Process

Appraisal is conducted by a CMMI Lead Appraiser using the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI). SCAMPI A is the most rigorous appraisal method, requiring on-site evidence review, interviews, and document analysis. Appraisal results are valid for three years.
